  • Dr. David Gartz
    Dentist, DDS

    Dr. David Gartz was born and raised in Los Alamos, NM and was a graduate of LAHS in 1996.  Dr. Gartz began his educational pursuits at Brigham Young University and earned a Bachelor in Science degree in 2002 after serving a two year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sao Paolo, Brazil.  Dr. Gartz graduated Cum Laude from the University of Colorado, School of Dentistry in 2006 and began practicing general dentistry in Los Alamos that year.


    Dr. Gartz enjoys his time with family.  He and his wife, Stacey, are proud parents of 6 children; Hannah, Norah, Eddie, Will, Sarah and Levi.  They love to play soccer and basketball together as well as bike, swim, run, and travel as a family.

    Continuing education has been vitally important to Dr. Gartz.  He has completed numerous courses from the American Dental Association, the Dawson Academy, Spear Education Institute, and from the Hands on Training Institute.  These courses range from creating esthetic excellence in dentistry to complete care and function for every patient.  He is an alumnus of the Dawson Academy, and is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.  Through his advanced education, Dr. Gartz loves to help his patients achieve their esthetic and functional goals.

  • Dr. Reed Cannon
    Dentist, DMD

    Dr. Reed Cannon was born in Los Alamos and graduated from LAHS in 1994.   He developed a passion for art, music, and soccer.  He enjoyed serving abroad as a missionary in Porto, Portugal for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He received his undergraduate in psychology from Brigham Young University in 2000.  In 2007, Dr. Cannon graduated with a Doctor of Medical Dentistry from Case Western Reserve University.

    Dr. Cannon is married to Heidi and they have five children, Caleb, Carson, Maia, Max, and Kylie.  He enjoys hiking and nature, playing and coaching soccer, teaching his children to draw, and traveling as a family.

    Growing as a dentist has become a focal point in Dr. Cannon’s career.  He has completed courses from the Spear Education Institute, the Dawson Academy, the Hands on Training Institute, and the American Dental Association.  Dr. Cannon loves using his artistic background, combined with his technical training, to create beautiful smiles and healthy mouths.   

  • Dr. Laura Heisch
    Dentist, DDS

    Dr. Laura Heisch has been with High Mesa Dental Arts for 30 years. Dr. Heisch loves working with such a fantastic team. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Jim and her son, James. When not at work, Dr. Heisch loves to travel, to go camping and mountain biking.

  • Dr. Howard Pack
    Dentist, DMD

    Dr. Howard H. Pack was raised here in White Rock and has been working at High Mesa Dental Arts since August 2022. Dr. Pack graduated from Dental School in 2009 followed by a 1-year advanced education residency.  Dr. Pack was also a fellow at ICOI and AGD.  Dr. Pack previously practiced in Cortez, CO for 11 years.


    Dr. Pack enjoys spending time with his family.  He and his wife, Whitney, share 3 children; Trent, Lexi and Claire. Dr. Pack is the son of Russell and Marion Pack.

    When not at the office, Dr. Pack enjoys many activities with his family, including camping, hiking, sports coaching, gardening, plays with his children and traveling to national parks.

  • Jenn Archuleta
    Registered Dental Hygienist

    Jenn has been working at High Mesa Dental Arts for almost 22 years.  Jenn enjoys spending time at home with her son and her pets.  When Jenn has time off, she also enjoys reading, travel and drinking hot tea.

  • Amanda Courtney-Gonzales
    Registered Dental Hygienist

    Amanda has been a Dental Hygienist at High Mesa Dental Arts since 2019.  Amanda has been practicing dental hygiene for 7 years.  She graduated from hygiene school in 2016, then continued her education to finish her BS in Dental Hygiene.  She has previously worked for Walt Disney World and has lived in Orlando, Florida and in Virginia. She loves spending time with her family, especially since her parents and her husband’s parents live in Los Alamos too.  When not at work, Amanda enjoys to stay active by running or going to the gym, but she also loves watching Youtube and editing videos for trips that she goes on with family.

  • Bonita Garcia
    Registered Dental Hygienist

    Bonita has been working at High Mesa Dental Arts since October 2020 and has lived in Nambe, NM her whole life. Bonita started as a Dental Assistant in 1990 and graduated from UNM in 1994 with a BS in Dental Hygiene. She loves spending time with her husband, her two children, and their 5 dogs. When not working, Bonita enjoys hiking, gardening, reading, going on vacation and hanging out with Jenn and Tyler.

  • Ashley Connell
    Registered Dental Hygienist

    Ashley has been at High Mesa Dental Arts since September 2022.  She graduated from hygiene school in 2010 from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan.  Ashley is a happy wife, mom of 3 kids and dog owner to their chocolate lab and golden retriever. Ashley loves to go hiking, crafting, playing volleyball and traveling.  She also enjoys trying and learning new things.

  • Spirit Sullivan
    Registered Dental Hygienist

    Spirit has been working at High Mesa Dental Arts for about 8 years. Spirit enjoys helping people by cleaning their teeth. When not at work, she loves to spend time with her daughter and roller skating.  

  • Robyn Sanchez
    Registered Dental Hygienist

    Robyn started at High Mesa Dental Arts in June 2023. She is happily engaged to her fiancé of 10 years and they are excitedly expecting their first son together in November 2023. Family means everything to Robyn. Robyn graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2019. Prior to being a hygienist, she worked as a dental assistant since 2011. During the summer, Robyn enjoys going to the mountains on her side-by-side, fishing, working out and hiking. During the winter, she enjoys snowmobiling and skiing.

  • Ramona Gonzales-Gallegos
    Registered Dental Hygienist

    Ramona has been working with High Mesa Dental Arts since 2019. She lives in Taos, NM. She used to be a UNM Director/Instructor in the Dental Assisting Program and she also works with Brett House Catering in Taos. When not at work, Ramona enjoys spending time with her 3 adult children and 9 grandchildren, traveling, gardening, cooking, crafting, hiking, swimming and staying busy.

  • Jackie A.
    Dental Assistant

    Jackie has been working at High Mesa Dental Arts for about 4 years and she enjoys saving one tooth at a time as one of Dr. Cannon's assistants.

  • Alicia Martinez
    Dental Assistant

    Alicia has been working at High Mesa Dental Arts for 8 years and is one of Dr. Cannon's assistants. She was born and raised in Los Alamos and she enjoys helping improve people’s smiles. Alicia has 2 children, Aiden and Hailey. She also enjoys spending time with her children especially outdoors.

  • Hugo Acosta
    Dental Assistant

    Hugo has been a dental assistant at High Mesa Dental Arts for 2 years as one of Dr. Gartz's assistants.  Hugo loves to travel the world.  He enjoys spending his weekends hiking, sightseeing and working out.  He also has a passion for dogs and is a big bread connoisseur.

  • Emily Pacheco-Martinez
    Dental Assistant

    Emily has been a dental assistant at High Mesa Dental Arts for 3 years as one of Dr. Gartz's assistants. Emily has been a Dental Assistant for 18 years and has enjoyed the opportunity to learn new skills as the industry changes.  She enjoys her time working with the amazing team at HMDA. Emily loves to spend time with her husband, 2 daughters and dog. When not working, Emily enjoys camping, doing crafts, traveling, listening to music and dancing.

  • Lena Cordova
    Dental Assistant

    Lena has been a dental assistant at High Mesa Dental Arts for over 10 years and is one of Dr. Heisch's assistants. She has enjoyed getting to know her patients over the years and helping them in any way she can during their visits. She enjoys spending time with family, including her dogs and cats, being outdoors and traveling whenever she can.

  • Jazmine Bone
    Dental Assistant

    Jazmine has been working as a Dental Assistant at High Mesa Dental Arts since July 2022 as one of Dr. Heisch's assistants.  Jazmine loves spending time with her dogs, Belle and Missy.  Also, when not at work, she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking or fishing, reading and traveling.

    Denise started at High Mesa Dental Arts in December 2023 as one of Dr. Pack's assistants.

  • Stacey Cecil
    Dental Assistant

    Stacey started at High Mesa Dental Arts in February 2024 as one of Dr. Pack's assistants. She enjoys gardening, hunter/jumper riding and spending time with her dog, Domonic.

  • Jim Tyldesley
    Ceramics Specialist

    Jim has worked as our ceramics specialist for patient crowns at High Mesa Dental Arts for 4 years. He really appreciates the upbeat and positive atmosphere at High Mesa. He is Dr. Heicsh’s husband and a proud father to their son, James. Jim enjoys camping, traveling, mountain biking and spending time with family. He also has a passion for motorcycles, reading non-fiction books, cooking and learning new languages.

  • Frankie Gavin-Scarafiotti
    Office Manager

    Frankie has been the office manager of High Mesa Dental Arts for 5 years.  Frankie enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter on the weekends.  Frankie also enjoys spending time outside.

  • Tyler Babcock
    Reception (White Rock Office)

    Tyler moved to the Los Alamos area with his family in 2011 from Southeast Idaho.  Tyler has been at High Mesa Dental Arts for 4 years. He enjoys the New Mexico weather.  Tyler and his wife have 3 daughters and 3 dogs. He likes to spend his weekends in the garden and hiking with his friends, Bonita and Jenn.

  • Sarah Roupp
    Reception (White Rock Office)

    Sarah recently moved to White Rock in August 2022 from Kingsbay, Georgia with her husband, 2 young daughters and 3 dogs. Sarah started working at High Mesa Dental Arts in April 2023. She is originally from Charleston, SC and has two Bachelor’s degrees from Charleston Southern University (Criminal Justice and Psychology). Sarah spends her weekends reading whenever she can and spending time with her family outside in the beautiful weather of New Mexico.

  • Rosy Pascual
    Reception (Los Alamos Office)

    Rosy started at High Mesa Dental Arts at the end of February 2024. Rosy loves to spend time at home with her fiancé and their two cats. She also enjoys going to concerts and shopping. Rosy has lived in Los Alamos since 2018 and is originally from Farmington, NM, where her parents still reside on the Navajo Nation.

  • Bernice Christensen
    Accounts Payable

    Bernice has been working for High Mesa Dental Arts for 10 years and she has been a resident of White Rock for 30 years.  Bernice enjoyed raising her children here and 2 of them have returned to the White Rock area as adults.  Bernice loves spending time with her 9 grandchildren and looks forward to retirement.

  • Stacy Schwerdt
    Insurance Specialist

    Stacy has been working at High Mesa Dental Arts since May 2023.  Stacy has 2 daughters that she loves to watch grow and learn new things.  When not at work, Stacy enjoys to bake, try new foods and recipes, being outdoors and camping.
